This was my weekend. Staying at our friend Hamish’s chalet that his Grandad built in the 60s, complete with a stunning view of Loch Earn, vintage interiors and surrounded by trees, plants and chirpy little birds. The chalet is in St Fillans, so not too far out of the way but enough to make you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, something that Scotland is very good at. The place was full of retro furniture, crockery and games and we had an ongoing joke about how it all felt a bit like a teenage horror movie where we’d play the haunted boardgame and all get killed off in gruesome deathscenes. Fortunately, that didn’t happen – we just ate, drank, played cards and watched the view.
I’ve gone a bit mad for a new trial plug-in for Photoshop, RadLab – I don’t have an I-phone so have missed out on all of the Instagram joy but this has made up for it. It just has a bunch of different filters that you can add on and mix and match to your photos. Here are the RadLab vintage versions of me and Tim (plus the view from the chalet).
