The enthusiasm for Breakfast Club was a bit thin on the ground last weekend due to Sunday morning being full of easter eggs, the icing of a chocolate cake and the prepping of Sunday dinner so I only managed Saturday’s tasty brekkie. I used the recipe that I stole from Vicky’s cookbook last week and made my own tattie scones, they were really good but a bit fat and it felt like we were eating dinner at half 9 on a Saturday morning! I seem to have lost about five rolling pins in my lifetime, probably because i’ve moved so much in the last couple of years – so I think it’s time to invest in a new one and say goodbye to fat tattie scones forever more.
