The first freezing weekend

So I managed to get through Friday 13th without any bad luck and i’m glad I did because the weekend brought with it some lovely adventures.  It was the first freezing weekend of 2012, with clear blue skies, frosty rooftops and bobble hats out in force. This is what we did…

Went to Edinburgh Farmers’ Market and bought some tasty and cheap veg:


My own fab baker boy, Tim made some tasty Chorizo Sausage Rolls after being inspired by last week’s Fabulous Baker Brothers programme:

Took a train to beautiful North Berwick where we walked on the beach, explored the town and I broke my new wellies in by paddling in the freezing sea:

Ate leftover sausage rolls whilst risking a ‘Harold Bishop’ moment by sitting precariously on the rocks:

Discovered the best looking ice cream van, ever:
